Arthur Hofman has been practising as a tax adviser since 1999 and specialises in corporate income tax. He advises domestic and international businesses on complex tax matters, including the Dutch and international tax aspects of acquisitions, (re)financings, investments and reorganisations.

Arthur combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. Clients value his ability to quickly identify the key issues in complex tax matters and translate them into practical advice aligned with their commercial objectives. His combination of extensive practical experience, academic involvement and publications in leading tax journals enables him to place tax issues in a broader strategic context.

In addition to his advisory practice, Arthur is affiliated with the Fiscal Institute of Tilburg University as a lecturer and researcher. In 2011, he obtained his PhD with a dissertation on the Dutch participation credit regime. He is also the author of several books and articles, serves as an editor and author for the leading handbook Cursus Belastingrecht, and regularly provides training courses for tax professionals, including programmes organised by the Dutch Association for Tax Adviser Education (Stichting Opleiding Belastingadviseurs).
