Meet Dorr Hamadi

Consultant in Copenhagen

“The atmosphere here is open, supportive, and truly focused on helping each other succeed.”

Hi Dorr, Tell us a bit about yourself and your journey to Svalner Atlas.
I hold a master’s degree in business law (cand.merc.jur) and worked as a tax trainee before joining Svalner Atlas Denmark in August. I started at the same time as the Copenhagen office was established, which made the journey especially exciting. Since then, the time has flown by with strong professional development and many valuable experiences.

What is your current role and what do you work with?
I work as a Consultant within tax advisory. My main areas include M&A tax, corporate tax, tax compliance and global mobility, often in an international context.

What does a typical workday look like for you?
A typical day involves following up on ongoing matters, sparring with colleagues, attending meetings, and preparing or participating in client presentations. I really value working in teams with colleagues at different seniority levels and colleagues in an international organization, as it creates a strong learning environment.

Which types of tasks do you find most exciting, and why?
I find it most exciting to work on tax advisory projects from start to finish, particularly restructurings within group structures. These projects often involve several complex issues and require close collaboration with colleagues across borders.

Our Danish office is relatively newly established — how has the start been?
I have really enjoyed being part of the journey from the beginning. The Danish office has grown quickly and is now a strong part of a well-established Nordic organisation. Being part of this development and helping position ourselves in the Danish market has been very rewarding.

How have you developed since joining Svalner Atlas?
Professionally, I have developed significantly through continuous sparring with colleagues and ongoing professional training. Personally, I have gained valuable experience through client meetings, international collaboration, conferences, and social events, all of which have strengthened my confidence and sense of belonging.

What do you think Svalner Atlas does particularly well?
Svalner Atlas is very strong at building an international culture. Initiatives such as the Annual Conference and the Induction Days bring colleagues together across borders and support close collaboration in daily work.

How would you describe the team spirit and working atmosphere in your office?
The atmosphere is open, supportive, and positive, with a strong focus on teamwork, knowledge sharing, and helping each other succeed.

Which three words would you use to describe your work?
Educational, dynamic, and rewarding.

You joined the Induction Days in Palma — how was it?
It was a very inspiring and well-organised experience. The program provided a strong introduction to Svalner Atlas and created lasting professional and personal connections with colleagues across the Nordic countries and the Netherlands.

What are you most excited about as you continue your journey with Svalner Atlas?
I am excited to follow the continued development of Svalner Atlas and to further strengthen our international collaboration in the years ahead.
