Svalner Atlas advisor to Folksamgruppen in connection with two acquisitions


Svalner Atlas has advised Folksamgruppen on financial and tax matters in connection with two acquisitions, a residential project acquired from JM and an elderly care project acquired from Skanska.

The residential project acquired from JM is a rental project in Sollentuna consisting of 165 residential units. Expected completion of the project is in the second quarter of 2027 and the underlying property value in the transaction is SEK 580 million. The transaction is structured as a forward purchase where the transfer of ownership occurs when the project has been completed

The elderly care project acquired from Skanska includes a special adapted residence for seniors (SÄBO) with 80 apartments and a group home according to LSS (specialized, assisted living homes) with six apartments in Sollentuna. Expected completion of this project is in the first quarter of 2028 and lease agreements have been entered into with Vardaga and Nytida. The underlying property value in the transaction is approx. SEK 340 million. Also this transaction is structured as a forward purchase where the transfer of ownership occurs when the project has been completed.
