We are proud to announce the appointment of four new partners: Alexander Belo, Christiaan Herman de Groot, Petter Lohi and Arthur Smeijer.

Alexander Belo is based in Stockholm and works in Svalner Atlas’ private equity & funds team and M&A tax group. Alexander provides tax advice on the establishment, structuring and ongoing tax considerations of alternative investment funds and supports in M&A transactions. He also works closely with Svalner Atlas’ fund services team to provide integrated support.

Christiaan Herman de Groot, located in Amsterdam, specialises in M&A tax advisory. Christiaan advises private equity firms, corporates, and other investors on all tax aspects of transactions across diverse industries.

Petter Lohi is situated in Stockholm and advises multinational enterprises on transfer pricing and international tax matters. Petter supports clients within a broad range of industries, with a focus on strategic transfer pricing and controversy-related matters.

Arthur Smeijer operates from Amsterdam and provides expertise in tax in relation to Real Estate and private equity funds. Arthur advises private equity and real estate funds, investors and managers on cross-border tax structuring, acquisitions and disposals.
