Halvor Grov

Halvor is the Managing Partner of Svalner Atlas Norway and a senior adviser within the energy and renewables sector, with a particular focus on power companies. He specialises in valuation, transactions, due diligence, financial modelling, and strategic advisory.

With more than 25 years of experience, Halvor is one of the most seasoned advisers in the Norwegian power sector. He has played a key role in numerous transactions and valuation processes, including mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions. His work spans complex company and wind farm valuations as well as financing processes, supporting clients through technically demanding and high-impact decisions.

Halvor combines deep industry insight with strong analytical expertise and a practical, solution-oriented approach. He is a long-standing trusted adviser to several leading Norwegian power groups, including Haugaland Kraft, Salten Kraftsamband, Sunnhordland Kraftlag, Varanger Kraft, and Gudbrandsdal Energi, with whom he has collaborated for more than 20 years across a wide range of strategic and financial matters.

He is also an active contributor to the public debate on power supply and energy policy, particularly in Northern Norway, and currently serves as a board member of Barents Nett AS, in addition to holding board positions in several other companies within the energy sector.
