June Mentens
Senior Manager
June works in the Corporate Tax team at Svalner Atlas. She advises multinationals on Dutch corporate income tax, with a focus on international and European aspects. In this context, she has extensive experience in areas including the participation exemption, fiscal unity, anti-abuse rules, interest deduction limitations, (reductions of) withholding taxes, hybrid mismatch rules (ATAD2) and (cross-border) mergers.
Clients approach her for advice on complex international tax matters, including cross-border (re)structuring and the rationalisation of corporate structures. In addition, she assists clients in analysing their tax position and assessing the implications of new legislation and regulations. June combines a strong technical background in tax with a solution-oriented approach to help clients move forward.
Before joining Svalner Atlas, June had already gained over ten years’ experience in taxation at a boutique tax consultancy firm and the Big Four. She is a member of the NOB (Dutch association of tax advisers) and writes commentaries for NDFR (tax treaties and Pillar 2).
